Oak Valley Appliance of Tehachapi is seeking an appliance maintenance specialist to join our growing team! This is an entry-level position with great opportunity for growth and advancement. Learn on the job and grow into an in-demand position as one of our future appliance repair technicians!

Job Description:
The Appliance Maintenance Specialist will drive to customer’s homes (company vehicle provided) to perform in-home maintenance services and assist our repair technicians. These duties include:
* Vacuuming lint and debris out of dirty clothes dryers
* Cleaning dust from refrigerator condenser coils
* Assisting technicians on two-man jobs
* Delivering parts to technicians to expedite service
This is an entry-level position. No mechanical or electrical skills are needed – just a great attitude and social skills. We will provide training, and you will have the opportunity for promotion to a technician’s helper, an apprentice, and eventually a full service technician.
Areas in need of coverage:
Our techs drive, on average, 5-10 miles in between each job and will see 8-12 appliances per day. We service Kern and L.A. County.
Job requirements include:
* Pass a company paid background and drug screening
* Maintain a clean CA driver’s license
* 8 am start time M-F (closed weekends)
* Outstanding customer service skills
* Maintain professional appearance and attitude
* Be a team player with great personal values
Compensation:
Minimum wage for the first 90 days, then pay increases based on performance.
